The PT6 is a legend in the turboprop world.

Everything about the prop resembles the real life propeller as closely as possible.

The variable pitch is made possible via a center shaft and fork mechanism, acting upon all five blades at once.

You can adjust the pitch by grabbing a blade and twisting it, or by pulling/pushing the center shaft.

The spring included in this Kit biases the blades toward the feathered position, just like in real life. Of course, the real system also uses hydraulics; however, the spring is also a vital part of the mechanism.
